Benjamin Bikman

Professor Benjamin Bikman is a biomedical scientist with a focus on understanding and sharing the origins and effects of elevated insulin in disrupting nutrient metabolism and regulating chronic conditions such as obesity, diabetes, dementia, and more.

In his 20 years as a research scientist, Dr. Bikman has focused on insulin resistance (i.e., where it comes from, why it matters, and what to do about it), and it has been the focus of every academic paper and presentation from his lab.
