Denise Potter

Denise Potter, RDN, CDCES is a leading expert in Ketogenic Metabolic Therapy with 30 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, including 19 years specializing in ketogenic therapy. She is the founder of Advanced Ketogenic Therapies (AKT) and a global educator, training and mentoring healthcare professionals through the collaborative Keto Mastery courses. Denise is widely recognized for her work in applying ketogenic therapy across a range of conditions including epilepsy, brain health, metabolic psychiatry, cancer, and more.

Her approach blends evidence-based science with personalized, client-centered care, and she has a special passion for helping underserved populations access the benefits of ketogenic therapy. Denise is actively involved in clinical research, speaks internationally, and was honored with the Baszucki Brain Research Fund’s first annual Metabolic Mind Award for her contributions to the field. She is also the author of The Migraine Diet: A Ketogenic Meal Plan for Headache Relief.

Denise earned her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Her ketogenic journey began at Michigan Medicine (University of Michigan) and has grown into a thriving private practice dedicated to empowering both patients and professionals.
